Mack Prioleau, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, consider Fort Worth, Texas, his home town. After spending the first 8 years of his life in California, he embarked on a 10 month trip around the world with his family. During this trip, Mack visited 19 countries and was exposed to different languages, foods, and cultures.

On the trip, Mack Prioleau learned to speak Spanish, to surf, and to sleep while traveling on just about any type of vehicle, as the trip included 108 taxi rides, 69 boat rides, 28 flights, and 17 buses. He has been fortunate to travel to places such as Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Australia, Hong Kong, Philippines, New Zealand, Argentina, and Fiji. Experiencing and interacting with so many cultures at an early age helped develop Mack Prioleau’s appreciation of others’ diverse backgrounds and his own sense of adventure.

Mack Prioleau recently spent time living in Cape Town, South Africa, where he spent the fall semester as a study abroad student. As someone that loves spending time exploring and staying active outdoors, Cape Town was the perfect fit. Mack Prioleau enjoyed experiencing everything that Cape Town had to offer. When he was not in the classroom, Mack Prioleau enjoyed spending his time outdoors. Whether was going on a hike up Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, and Devil’s Peak or surfing with friends at Muizenberg, every day presented a new adventure.
